The Inaugural Denise Bacon 5K Run/Walk for Peace & Peace Fair was held on September 16 th and brought together nearly 70 Runners/Walkers to commemorate the life of a one of our dedicated Rotarians, Denise Bacon and the International Day of Peace, September 21st. Also, at the event, Rotarian Jim McMaster presented a kinetic sculpture donated to the community with funds from the Rotary Club of Newberg, the Earlybirds, and private donors. More than 11 Peace Fair vendors contributed to the event with many celebrating the theme of peace, peaceful communication, children’s events, with music and food. Share this event to your platform.
